One of the more common problems found in corrugated diecutting is the formation of a double rollover score with the corrugation. Creasing rule does not always provide an acceptable rollover, due to variations in the position of the flutes in relation to the rule. In applications such as trays or displays, perforating rule that cuts through the outer liner may be objectionable. National's solution to this problem is EZ Score. Essentially a lower combination rule with an 1/8" x 1/8" (3.2 mm x 3.2 mm) or a 1/4" x 1/4" (6.3 mm x 6.3 mm) tooth pattern, EZ Score is designed to cut the inner liner and medium without piercing the outer liner. The height of EZ Score should be approximately 0.010" (0.3 mm) above normal creasing rule.
